Master Acosta has been a practitioner of the Chinese Martial Arts since the age of 17.  His first exposure was in the Tien Shan Pai style where he received a strong foundation.

To further his education he decided to enhance his training in the United States under Grandmaster Shum Leung, one of the highest ranking instructors of the Eagle Claw System in the World.

 In 1995 he earned his official ranking license as a "Certified Instructor -Sifu" of the Eagle Claw System.

Through additional years of intensive study of Advanced Forms, Techniques and Fighting Theory he was awarded the Rank of "Master Level - Disciple " in 2000, which is only given to those who have obtained a high level of skill.

Still living in NYC he provides TRADITIONAL training to a select few through private lessons.

He also maintains a busy schedule traveling to his 3 branch schools located in

Brazil and Paraguay.
